Qualifications:
Competition Participant Requirements
1.
Active students in diploma and undergraduate programs from all universities
in the world
2.
Participants are in groups of 2 to 3 people and one person is the
team leader
3.
Participants come from the same college, but are allowed from
different majors
4.
Each team is accompanied by a lecturer as a supervisor
5.
Each team is only allowed to submit one work
6.
The essay submitted is an original work that has never been
published
7.
Any form of plagiarism will be disqualified
8.
The title and content of the article must match the theme of the
competition.
Essay Requirements
1.
Essay must be written at least 1,000 words and a maximum of 2,000
words. The word count does not include bibliography and appendices.
2.
The title of the work is free but must be in accordance with the theme
of the competition and the chosen category.
3.
Essay are typed in Times New Roman font, 12 point size, 1.5
spacing.
4.
Essay are written on A4 paper with upper 3, right side 4, bottom 3
and right side 3 typing limits.
5.
The essay consists of three parts, namely:

Introduction: consists of the problem, background and objectives, purpose,
also the benefit obtained from the innovation.

Body: explain the results of the idea (product or another output),
elaborated with supporting data from previous research or another eligible
resources.

Closing: contains conclusions and suggestions
6.
The bibliography is written in APA Style, which is divided into
three categories: books, journals, and official websites.
7.
Essay are original ideas created by participants and have never
been published in any form and anywhere.
The prizes:
Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each
category:
1st winner : IDR 7.000.000/472 USD and e-certificate
2st winner: IDR 5.000.000/337 USD and e-certificate
3st winner: IDR 3.000.000/202 USD and e-certificate

International Scientific Essay Competition (ISEC) 2022 is a free
competition. There is no payment fee for the collection of works.

Participants fill in the registration link as well as submit their
work in PDF with the format: Category_Name of Chair_Origin of University at the

Participants who qualify for the top three finalists must make a
presentation on September 20, 2022.
